Let's go bombing!

Have any nice drawings of Nicholas, fan fictions (stories) or anything else related to his movies and personas? Scantily clad, or just plain scandalous, by all means post it here!

I just took an image file, made it black and white, and cranked up the contrast. Then you erase the background. The hardest part is making sure you don't get any little islands of white. the white has to stay connected (unless you're doing a multi-layer stencil). What can be of tremendous help to make sure everything connects well, is to use a small Gaussian Blur effect. It helps round out parts that may seem too detailed to cut out with a boxcutter/razorblade.

Then, print out on a standard piece of paper, tape it to some durable cardboard/posterboard (i recommend spray adhesive if you have it, as it keeps it in place while you're cutting) and cut out all the black.

I really have to say that these turned out exceptional compared to how I thought they'd look. While cutting the black patches out, I said 'Oops!' or 'Aww fuck!' quite a few times, and thought for sure i had ruined it, but gave it a shot anyway.

I would also recommend starting with something real simple. That way, you dont cut out almost all of it before realizing the last part you cut out needed to stay.

(i just woke up so i apologize if this seems scatterbrained)

i may have to take out the moustache. Looks a little Hitler-esque. And adding to it might make it look like a massive mouth.

You're very talented Seth. And you have much more ambition than I do. :D

Hey props on the stencils there alot harder then they look. I've made a few myself but they didn't come out as good as yours. That what would be sick if Banksy attempted a hot fuzz stencil

Seth, if you have some spare time on your hands, you should make a couple more of those. I'm pretty sure some people here would buy one. Myself being one. :nick:
