Well filming today was a little less than perfect.
Our bad guy pulled a muscle and we were unable to film any more of the chase scenes.
Put us back a bit, but nothing too serious.
I'm just happy Patrick wasn't injured and just needs time to recover.

On a great note though, we had the great Mutt come on down and join our fantasticly huge extras cast of....2 <lol>
Thanks for helping out Mutt. May not have seemed like much but we really did need the extras to make the place look a little civilised. I hope with the loss of chase filming we didn't seem too non-professional <lol>

Here are some stills for the day:

Actually I don't think it was a pulled muscle.
I've been going to the gym a lot the last few months so I'm good to go.
Patrick has also been working out, last weekend though he was at his limit.
The week in between then and now he's been sick so he's not been working out.
Combine tired muscle with no stretching and you have hurting muscles.
We started the run scene and quickly found out he shouldn't have done it - ouch!
He'll be fine, I just know he wanted to get more done today :(

I got to meet Tony and talk to him for a little while. That was most definitely cool.
Turns out he and I actually only live a few miles apart.

Uhm, Other than that all I did was stand around and try not to get in the way.
I suppose now I can truthfully say I have experience on film as an extra.
Well, except for the fact that it was a digital camera with no actual film.

Yep the flu hit me; the flu B to be exact.
I'm not sure exactly what the Flu B is but the doctor told my wife to take anti-biotics and don't go back to work until she was fever free for 24 hours.
I guess I had the same thing, but it was over the 3 day weekend so took the Tuesday off too to be sure my quarantine was up.

OK, filming is to commence this Sunday and hopefully we'll get it wrapped up then.
Mainly because a) I want to submit this project for DragonCon TV (TV channel for viewing at the convention in Atlanta) and b) I need to get my hair cut BADLY!!!
Anymore than Sunday and I'll have to get a trim just to make it look like it did back when we started filming. Then when we're done I'll have to get it cut AGAIN.

AllCon in Dallas is next weekend and I'm hoping to have filming wrapped up so I can cut my hair SHORT and bleached blonde for the weekend. If I'm to look the part at the convention I need short blonde hair.
Thinking on it now I should have done that from the beginning.......but I'd have to have had it done multiple times and the budget is already way over its $10 limit.
Them Cornetto's ain't cheap ya' know!!

That's a wrap people!!

With the weather man calling for 100% chance of rain today we braved the wind and finalised the filming. We had an issue with continuity so we'll film those 5 seconds in a few weeks to get it all finished, but in a nut shell we are done!!!

The rain hit at 8:00 while I was watching Spaced alone in the living room.
20 minutes later the sirens went off and scared the living sh*t out of me so I was in the laundry room with the neighbours for about 45 minutes.
(Live in Oklahoma don't forget.....we get tornadoes!!)

Now the pain staking editing, sound effects and the putting together of this master piece must take place. The kind staff of one from DoomBuggy Productions is allowing me the use of his expertise and new MAC computer for the editting :)
Please see this thread which pertains to him and my way of saying thank you

I'm also hoping to have one final trailer released shortly for your enjoyment.
No stills from today though....sorry.
We were running on low battery the whole day and it finally gave in just as we finished the final scene - SWEEEEET!
We tried to recharge from my friend Len's car but for some reason his converter filled the car with smoke rather quickly.......bad idea.
