Would try the spoiler thing, but I'm not sure how to get the color right. ;-)

I didn't think white will work. Then again, maybe it will. ;)

Start: Perhaps some of it is setup for the next movie that wasn't supposed to be. ;-) So they'll use Angel and Kitty next time, for example; I'm sure they signed the actors to at least a two-film contract. The problem with Hank and Logan was the same problem we noted above; they didn't allow enough time for character development in this movie. It worked, but it really didn't build properly. I loved the way Kitty had no problem figuring out what to do when she got to Leech, and found out that her powers wouldn't work. Really quick thinking. That was right in character for her, I thought. End.

And a bit more: If they want to continue where they left off, they can bring Moira back. And they can now cast someone else as Professor X? Done.

No, that worked, Lori. ;-) We don't have a proper SPOILER tag on this board so we just use the white. Go for it!

I thought it was going to land on the slightly darker shade, and I was going to have to try to match it. ;-)

LOL, nah it's light enough that you really cant' read it unless you squint. Watch!...

BTW, I just realized what else was missing in X3: Xavier's voice-over monologue at the beginning was MIA. Now THAT just ain't right! It's like starting Return of the Jedi without an opening scroll. And especially glaring since X2 had that terrific Wrath of Khan homage where the not-quite-dead character (Jean) takes over the monologue at the end.(end spoiler)

If THAT was a Ratner decision, then he's back in the doghouse. LOL

Same here, Robbsy. Although I think it's more a case of "I know what to make of it, it's just that there's about 15 different aspects to that and they're all over the map." I've been too entrenched in holiday-weekend-lazy mode to write it all out....I will though! Just lemme have another beer first.

I will add one thing, for now: I cannot....BELIEVE....that line is in the movie. You know the one. Don't make me say it. ;)

Come on you know you want to say..."Don't you know who I am??..."

A friend of mine told me about the fan made redubbed X-Men cartoon episode so I was half expecting it. I actually said it to myself when he first appeared. When he actually said it I was rolling.

Im going to see it again just cause I didnt stay after the end credits. I know what happens I just wanna see it for myself.

Im really hoping with how well X3 did at the box office in just 4 days that they will try to do another one. Knowing it will be difficult to get certain actors back Im not holding my breath.

Doesn't matter if it's ready to move on, I 'm sure there's room for Spidey. ;) They must be having a miserable time of it. They are supposed to be filming at night. Nights aren't very conducive to filming, unless one likes getting wet. Very wet. It's raining now, and it was raining last night (started just after we got to the theater, and stopped just after we left).

Bring your camera, Lori, get pix! ;)

*sigh* Lionsgate is dropping the Black Widow project because of the poor B.O. performance of other recent female-driven action films. (Gee, couldn't be because those films SUCKED, could it? Make a good movie and that might not be a problem. Idiots.)

Anyway, Nic's Boyfriend David Hayter™ talks to IGN about it. Poor Davey:

They were supposed to be filming downtown last week; I'm not sure what happened with all the rain. (The rain was so bad on Friday that some of the subway lines were flooded.)

They were supposed to be filming from 6 pm to 6 am, or something like that!

Tobey M. was spotted at the show Awake and Sing last Tuesday. ;-)

I think that they figure, as far as movies are concerned, that if they don't do well initially, there's not much interest. Too bad, because Black Widow sounds promising. At least Hayter isn't giving up. Somebody might take a look at how Marvel movies often do, and how David Hayter movies do, and think it's worth a chance.

Iron Man has been cast.

Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark.

Reported by Ain't It Cool News yesterday, and confirmed by Variety today.

And I think someone just developed the first generation suit.
